Is killing me.

I haven't been active on here (not really...) since way before NaNo 2011, but it was then that I basically forgot about DevArt.
I haven't been able to do much art free-lance here, because it's college, and the dorm rooms are small and the art classes don't stay open all the time like in high school, so there's nowhere for me to even *think* about having a space (and I need a space...) to do art in.

Also, I'm really effing busy this semester.
Apart from taking intensive language courses*, I'm taking a biology class that gives science a bad name**, and other than the one art class I AM enrolled in*** and my psych class****, I'm on the University Rifle team (see previous journals for more information).

AND.

(And it's big...) I'm doing lab research...in a genetics lab....with flies.
Which means when I have free time, I go to the lab. Which means that when I'm done at the lab, I go back to my dorm room...and go to sleep. I haven't really even checked my FB that often (And for those of you who would disagree, remember that I have a smartphone now....and the dining hall has excellent wi-fi. I don't particularly count that as checking fb) or any of my online stuff for a *LONG* (read: 3-4 weeks) time.



I don't *have* free time. Except on Super-bowl Sundays when the rifle travel team is off travelling to/from a tournament and I'm not *on* the travel team. Maybe after NJO's are over, I'll have more spare/ non-lab time, but the prognosis isn't looking to great at the moment.

So................Official notice: Don't expect much out of me art-wise for a while. I might update every so often with pictures of finished ART 360*** pieces....and probably the finished drawn designs of said pieces, but that's gonna be about it. This summer I'll get back to drawing more.

*Read: in college a 'normal' language course meets 2-3 times a week, and a 101 class takes the whole semester to finish. In 'intensive' courses, they meet 5 days a week for an hour/hour and a half and finish in half a semester. Followed by the next course in the series, which takes the last half of the semester to finish. Both are regular 3-credit courses. They just meet way more and more often. So combined it's like a 6 credit hour class. X.x

**Biology class giving science a bad name: The title is Inquiry and Analysis. Those of you who know anything about those two words should be shrinking from it already. It's the class where they teach you how to write papers in the science world. So it's like English 101 for science. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Yeah.

***Art class I'm actually taking: Intro to Sculpture. At my university, read that as 'Welding as Art'. It really is an art class, you get to use your own designs and everything. It just meets for 3 hours at a time. Twice a week.

****Psych class:
I want to shoot the teacher. For various reasons. (I won't--It's just an expression--but it's one of those teachers.) It's my highest-level class and it's the easiest. And the most boring. (I liked Psych before this!   Oh well...)
